I created this website as a sample site for the Brookville Intermediate and HS library. They currently do not have a website, and I don't think they have plans to add one anytime soon, (but I hope to be able to share this sample with the librarian). Consequently, the catalog link is a dead one. Now that I am finished, I am wondering if I should have chosen to go with the Intermediate School or the High School, instead of trying to incorporate both in one site. What do you think?

I created this website for the library in which I have been working for several years. It is quite a change from the site our library still uses. I would like to continue tweaking some things. I couldn't get the captions on the pictures like I thought. I used Adobe Photoshop. Our school doesn't have a research process that is cohesive throughout. I would like to change that someday. I also would like to feel more certain about favorite search engines. I would like some feedback!

This website was created with a school in mind but the website is not for the actual school. The catalog link and the school link are dead links so they do not actually go anywhere. Please feel free to give me some feedback!

I created this website based on where I am doing my field experience (Schaefer Middle School in Springfield) but changed the name and address. Like Brooke's, the OPAC and school homepage link don't really take you anywhere.

I created this website with Fairborn High School in mind. Feedback is appreciated.

This website is (obviously) for a fake middle school. Some of the links, including the catalog, are dead. I appreciate any feedback!

This website is for a fake early childhood school. I based it on my Prek-1st grade school. Some of my links like others are dead and wont take you anywhere. I hope you like it!

I created this website with the high school I attended in mind, but it is a fake site. Like others have done with their sites, some of the links (catalog, school and district sites) are dead.

I created this site based on the school where I work. However, I am not really the librarian and the contents are of my doing (except the history section -- I pilfered the content from the parents' organization site). Currently, the Sands Library catalog is not available outside of the building, so the link to the catalog is dead. The site is graphically on the simplistic side, as the computers in our building are ancient. Further, as an urban school, a lot of our kids are tech savvy but many are not, so I didn't want to distract them with too many pretty colors. I'd love some feedback, particularly on the content.

Here's my WORK IN PROGRESS site. I have the elementary portion pretty much completed but still waiting for the policies and procedures. Working on the High School site and getting some great ideas from all of your sites. I have some MAJOR restrictions though! 1) First Class is the program they use for websites and it's very limiting in regards to font, placement, etc. 2) Limited input - the media specialist is busy with so many other things it's hard to find time to meet and get input 3) It's also difficult to create things that need updated or maintained - for instance, I wanted to make the home page a place for "Teacher's Pick" and each month update it with a new teacher and their favorite book. 4) There are no Events (present or upcoming)...no book clubs, no book talks, no author visits, no book fairs....etc. The limitations are frustrating but the fact that the site will be posted on an actual school website is very rewarding.
